PRABOA’s SafeParks security subcommittee is committed to enhancing security in public spaces within the suburb and surrounds, as well as providing a more cost-effective solution for armed response and alarm monitoring. Our efforts include representation on the the Community Policing Forum (CPF), proactive patrols including, foot patrols and the use of Vumacam Smart City cameras in strategic locations.

Your PRABOA subscriptions contribute towards sustaining these security measures. We’ve partnered with 24/7 Security to provide dedicated patrol vehicles, armed response, and alarm monitoring, ensuring the safety of our community.

The dedicated 24/7 team also hold the keys to every electricity substation in Parkhurst and ensure that the park gates are locked at sunset every evening and unlocked every morning.
