COJ Fault Logging

We’re here to support you with municipal challenges, provided you’re a paying member of PRABOA and follow the steps below:

  1. Report the problem to the relevant City entity, obtain a reference number, and follow up within a reasonable timeframe.
  2. Once you have a reference number and 24 hours has passed email us at support@parkhurst.org.za for further support. Include your PRABOA membership number in your email to us. We will track and follow up on the logged fault regularly and within reason, please do the same from your side for a more effective response. 
  3. Once your fault is resolved, let us know we can close the fault on our side.

The kinds of municipal issues we can help you report, track and communicate include:  fault logging related to electricity outages and streetlights, water and sewerage issues, public infrastructure matters within reason such as reporting pothole and pavement maintenance.

  • Have your account and/or meter number available
  • Always get a reference number
  • Only escalate to the ward councillor after 6 hours of no power
  • Send this information as follows in ONE message via WhatsApp (https://wa.me/27836192419) with your subscription number to:
  1. Name
  2. Cell
  3. Address (including suburb & nearest street corner)
  4. Ref #
  5. Date & time 1st logged
  6. Problem (keep it short)
  • If there is a number of houses in one street that are out, collate it all in ONE message and ask the street representative to forward it
  • Still not on? Re-escalate the following day with the ward councillor by 06:30

New Online Logging Site for Joburg Water

Joburg Water has started an online logging tool using Forcelink – the same company as the citypower.mobi site we all use to log power outages.

So we now have an online logging portal by Forcelink for City Power and Jhb Water:

It is important to note that they are seperate links & you have to register for both seperately.

You can also contact the Discovery Pothole Patrol

– Download the Pothole Patrol App – the app is available on the IOS app store and Google Play. Once downloaded, follow the registration prompts and you’re all set to report potholes as you come across them on the roads.
